When I was at the Bears and things got really rough at the end, you guys hung in there as long as anybody did in this city trying to give me and our coaches and our team a chance.

And I'll never forget that.

And I think this is true for Danny and both of it.

Both of us saw in you. And time has proven to be correct about how much you knew about the game. Because watching you analyze game is just unbelievable. You are just terrific. And I mean, I love great analysts. I love guys who get it, who know it, can say it to stupid people like me and I understand it. So, I mean, we saw that in you. We knew there was no doubt about your football side of it. There was no question about you or your credentials or anything about you.

So, I mean, it was an easy guy to root for it. Plus, you were a good guy. I mean, I was coming off my dick who hated me. Dicker really hated his ass, Dave. He really did. No, I can't believe that. Nobody has done it better.
