McNeil and Boers and then Boers and Bernstein, those are the two North Stars of sports

radio.

Terry between the sports writers, but then also heavy fuel crew and Boers and Bernstein,

three iconic shows in sports radio that had an impact.

Who you crapp and started with Dan McNeil and Terry.

And by the way, that segment was absolutely

wonderful because it involved the listeners. Just hearing you talk about 1992 and the formative

days of the score just brings by such great memories. There are times, and that's 33, now 34 years ago,

that I will find myself singing along to the McNeil and Hannelly song.

McNeil and Hanaly, da-da-da-da-da-dam. I would race home to hear the heavy fuel crew and the

monsters. None of us would have made it without the other shows. I mean, just think about it. You go

from Cher to the Monsters to two other great shows than to the heavy fuel crew.

We were a 10-anchor lumberyard across the street from Home Depot, and we won.

You know, him and Mack doing heavy fuel crew together, and then Kerry staying at the score,

and Mack eventually going up to dial for bringing a lot of those sensibilities to, you know, Mac Jerko and Harry and B and B. When I heard Terry Boers, when I heard Dan McNeil, when I heard Mike North, when I heard Dan Jiggins, I said to myself, this is it. He had an incredible partnership with Dan McNeil. That's why I fell in love with the score.

It was because of him.

And I really learned how to drive a show because of McNeil.

Well, that's the thing.
