Morning everybody, welcome long. Tuesday, 30th of the January. Have you paid your tax?

I'm sorry to keep mentioning it because I would be equally fed up if somebody on the radio kept saying,

have you paid your tax? We paid your tax? Because I met somebody the other day who hasn't got any money

to pay their tax or to live.

Basically, they're just not doing particularly well.

It's all sort of collapsing and there's no end in sight.

And I was saying to this person, you don't know, it doesn't really matter.

I said, listen, I said, sometimes it does look as though everything is collapsing around you.

And then around the corner

there's a ray of light and that's what you've got to wait for. The Beckham's are in the paper

today for two reasons. Firstly because there's still the most attention-seeking couple you've

ever met in your entire life. Secondly because she's showing you around their gorgeous

mansion in, it's not a mansion, it's just a large house in Notting Hill, okay? They don't have mansion, they're just large houses.

31 and a half million, so it's at the cheaper end of the market. And apparently it's minimalist, but they've got, apparently the, the Beckham's, if you please, have a collection of banksies. Do they really? You know, I just think,

what a lot of old cobblers, really? Who cares? And they show you inside and then Dave in their

luxury kitchen. Just look like anybody else's kitchen. Apparently Dave likes cooking. I know,

heating pizza up must be a nightmare for him. And then, and they've also got, um, a very expensive

coffee machine, which in, in the confines of this article went from 2,400 to 2,700. So obviously

it's just increased by the fact that the beckhams actually touch it. The house looks a little bit

plain. Should we put it that way? It certainly doesn't look like luxury. That's a fact. They've got a pokey little garden at the back, as indeed all these houses have in Notting Hill. They don't have big gardens because the next house backs onto you. And apparently they have a cinema that they've got full use of. What you thought was the straight? Well, if it's in their house, of course they've got full use of it. That'll just be a room with chairs in it, okay?
