Hey friends, in this episode, I'm chatting with my pal Christine Bailey, co-host of the show and regular contributor for the art of simple.

As always in this episode, we're springboarding off what we wrote about this week.

And in light of it being Valentine's week, for Christine, she's sharing ways she and her husband

find time to date while they raise an eight and five-year-old. Basically they're in the

thick of parenting and then I'm talking about ways Kyle and I model marriage to our kids in the day to day of life.

Now that we're fully in the teen stage and our youngest is the age of Christine's oldest.

We're still 100% learning as we go.

We're just one parenting stage ahead as all.

And then in the third segment, I'm talking with a woman named Becca Stevens about her work.

She runs an organization called Thistle Farms.

So let's get right into it.

Here's Christine and me talking about how to make time for each other and how to model a healthy

relationship, all in the midst of parenting.

Okay, Christine, we are going to talk a little bit about our relationships with our husbands since this is Valentine's Week and you already wrote a little bit about this but tell us a little bit more and kind of what's on your mind in this department.

Yeah this is great I love talking about this. So my post this week is actually

about kind of my journey with my husband as far as how we've learned to be a team

in marriage while also having separateness.

So and especially how that's played out in our marriage and then also how that's played

out in our 11 years of working together because we kind of have a little bit of unique relationship there that we've also run businesses and work together for 11 years of our marriage.

Yeah, that's actually really unique, but Kyle and I have a similar experience too, and so I'm super

interested to hear your take on it, especially your emphasis on the having your separateness.
