one of my group coaching clients, and she came to a session and shared that she felt really

overwhelmed with dating and how that played into her life decisions in general. She wasn't

even sure if she wanted to stay in the current city that she's living in.

She felt anxious about the time that she had left to meet somebody that she could have

kids with and she really did want to have kids and was the town where she lived even a good

place to meet somebody like that, or maybe it doesn't

really matter because she doesn't have time anyways. And so just in general, a big part of that

was the pressure around the timing of meeting somebody and having kids. And so I want to share with

you what I shared with her that ended up being really helpful for her.

Rather than thinking about all of these different options and hypothetical timelines and vague ideas about time running out and different options available to you,

the exercise is to take a sheet of paper

and write out your life vision. And this is something that I do about once annually,

maybe more if I need to reassess my priorities and where I'm headed and what I'm doing.
