Post. It's not a good one for Sam Hal. Sam Hal's numbers aren't mediocre. They're bad.

And he goes to something that I'm not that familiar with. EPA says with Hal under center.

Washington's passing offense is scoring about five fewer points per game.

Then you would expect based on the down distance and field position of each dropback per data

from true media. That is the second worst performance from a Washington starting quarterback

through the first seven weeks of a season since 2002 trailing only Dwayne Haskins 2020 campaign.

Hal ranks 25th in EPA expected points added per game among qualified quarterbacks in 2023.

That ain't good. Carson Wentz last year was a 4.8 and expected points added. It is actually expected

points subtracted. Sam Hal's 4.9. So his performance has been very much like Carson Wentz
