episodes where you just got to sit back and buckle up. I mean, Derek Hamilton is special.

The way his mind works is just second to nine and we get a chance to learn about all of the

economic theories we've thought about and talked about.

The things I'll talk about on CNN, not just income inequality or equity.

Those words are different. But also, things like reparations.

Today's episode is so dope, and I'm so happy to have Derek Hamilton on the show with us today.

But I have to start by saying that this has been another

epic week for the country where we saw one of the more significant boycotts in some time

where athletes,

athletes across major sports.

They opted not to play or opted not to practice

and in recognition of the need for accountability and justice for another young black man,

his name was Jacob Blake. Like many of you, I was heartened and inspired by the protest in the streets

and by athletes reclaiming their time. by the

athletes reclaiming their time and seizing their platforms to rise to the moment

as important we saw players step out with policy agendas for structural change.

They weren't just, you know, as we say down South, Pissen,
