So let me maybe start with a quote that I share with everyone,

one of my favorite quotes about dreaming.

I'm big on dreams. Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. And to me that sort of summed up a lot about the purpose of light,

why we're here, for us to dream and dream again and dream again

and change the world we live in.

As Vichen said, I was born in Iran.

I lived in Iran during the revolution, during the war.

And I left when I was about 16 years old and came to United States to study.

And as a child, I fell in love with the beautiful black skies over Tehran, the capital city.

And I know what you see in the news

and everything is nothing good about Iran,

but I remember beautiful mountains

and beautiful night skies.

And that's what started this love of stars in my heart.

I remember as a child you would sleep outside summer nights and just gaze at this beautiful night sky
