I'm Garrett Downing, joined by Clifton Brown, and today we're excited to sit down with

Dale Jeremiah from the NFL Network, one of the best draft analysts out there.

So, DJ, I first want to start with the hiring of Jesse Minter for the Ravens.

He's somebody you know.

You work for the Chargers

on the radio team and you know Jesse well. What are your impressions of what he's going to bring

here to Baltimore? Well, I wouldn't say that you hit a home run with Jesse Minter. I'd say you hit a

grand slam with Jesse Minter. I cannot say enough good things about him. And I'll start first of all

with he's humble. A lot of times you have someone who's found success. He's a little bit younger.

There's an ego that's associated with that. He doesn't have it. I mean, he makes everything about the

players. He's got great personal relationships with players. He's, you know, brilliant in terms of

designing a defensive game plan.

He's proven everything you could prove on the defensive side of the ball. And I think

relationally he's so good. That's going to, I mean, that's just going to be a strength he can tap

into even more as a head coach. And I think he's forward thinking. He's surrounded himself,

you know, with some good young coaches. I think there's going to be a really good energy and a good lift and a good vibe there as he gets there. Yeah, you can feel that kind of starting already, which is encouraging. And he's confident in the joggers, man. McVeigh pulls it off. Not everybody, you know, McDaniel, I think, pulled it off. It's not everybody can pull off the joggers.

The jogger test, right?

Yeah, because sometimes it's joggers and you could say, well, I don't know, is he soft? You know, it's like, no, he's a tough guy that wears joggers. It's a very unique combination. That's, pulls it off. at all. When you look at this year's draft

board and where the Ravens are, 14, and what

they need, how does the talent stack

up with what they're looking for?
