Welcome to Through the Bible with Dr. J. Vernon McGee.

In our last study in Daniel, we looked at a new section that focuses on prophecy.

Now, a quick recap, in the first part of chapter 7, we learned Daniel had a dream about four beasts that corresponded to Nebuchadnezzar's vision of the image made of different metals.

And Dr. McGee told us about the first three beasts, the lion, bear, and leopard.

Now as we continue, we meet the fourth beast, described as dreadful and terrible.

So grab your Bible and turn to the book of Daniel chapter 7 verse 7.

I just had to share with you what Psalm 27 means to me that I've been listening to on the Bible bus yesterday and today.

My daughter, when she was age 15, entered a Talance for Christ contest in Ohio, and she chose to sing the song,

The Lord is my light and my salvation. She won first prize in all of Ohio at that time.

Unfortunately, when she was on her 18th birthday, she was tragically killed in a car accident.

So, I'm sorry.

So the Lord of my light and my salvation is now on her tombstone.

But I had to share that story with you.
