0:12.1	Recently, I've been declaring to anyone who would listen that I am a dangerous woman.
0:24.9	Now, declaring that boldly like this still feels a bit dangerous, but it also feels right.
0:34.6	At this time in my life, about to be 77, I have, I love when you're applauded for your age, but I'll take it.
0:49.8	About to be 77, I realize I have nothing left to prove,
0:54.8	less to lose, and I'm more impatient about everything.
1:01.2	The true slow pace towards equality,
1:05.3	the rise in sexism, racism, violence against women and girls,
1:10.6	and I'm angry, too.
1:13.1	At the climate deniers who are stealing the future from our children and grandchildren.
1:20.2	Friends, we are living in dangerous times.
1:24.7	And such times call for all of us to be more dangerous. Now, what do I mean by this? I don't mean
1:33.3	being feared, it's not that kind of dangerous, but I do mean being more fearless. I mean speaking the
1:43.2	truth when silence is a lot safer. I mean speaking the truth when silence is a lot safer.
1:46.7	I mean speaking up in rooms for those who aren't present,
1:51.1	especially those rooms where decisions are made about our lives and our bodies.
1:56.4	We need to be in those rooms.
2:00.5	Showing up for one another,
2:03.8	challenging the cultural construct that encourages us,
2:07.9	especially women and girls, to compete, compare,
2:13.4	criticize.
2:15.6	We have to end this.
