Well, I will resist the urge to talk too much about college football over the weekend other than to

tell our friends in Oregon.

I'm sorry that after a very, very hard fought and fun game to watch,

the ducks managed to lose to a very good Washington team.

I tell you what, the Pac-12 or Pac-10 or whatever they are this year, it doesn't matter.

I don't have to learn it. It used to be Pac-12, but the division's going away.

And what's funny about that or ironic is that division is more fun to watch this year

than they've been in 10 years and they won't be around next year.

But we have a lot of listeners in our Portland market listening on KeX 1190,

who live and breathe and survive on Oregon duck football. And I thought this was a year

they're going to the playoffs. But that Washington team is darn good.

Now, that being said, now that I've paid tribute there, we can talk about UT because we're in Austin

and we can talk about, unfortunately, the Aggies and the disappointments. And of course,

Alabama, who by the way, I still think Alabama will be in the playoffs.

This is the last year we'll be in the 14 playoffs.

If LSU doesn't beat him and that LSU team, there's two different LSU teams,

depending on whether they show up or not, that LSU team on their best day can beat Alabama,

that LSU team on anything less than their best day cannot be Alabama.

Just going to be a question of which LSU team shows up. But I say all that to build credibility so

that I may brag on my University of Houston Cougars for a moment. An incredible and wild ending
