So the idea started with my co-creator, my partner, my Harrison who has a background in

national security and works in DC and is familiar with this world.

And it all came from the idea of if people knew what this is actually like, that it is

as absurd and frustrating as any other office job, but it has the extra dynamic of while

you're trying to navigate the bureaucracy and the infighting and the petty swobbles and

the office romances, you're also trying to keep the homeland safe from terrorism in this

case.

And that just disconnect just seemed like so much fun to play around in.
