Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening, wherever you are. And welcome to the politics guys with your host, Jay Carson and Michael Baranowski.

0:17.3

Welcome to the politics guys. I'm Michael Baranowski, a political scientist at Northern Kentucky University.

0:23.4

My co-host this week, as always, is Cleveland Area Attorney and sometime Republican strategist, Jay Carson.

0:30.0

Today I'm very excited to have on this show someone I've admired for years.

0:34.3

Dan Carlin, a professional journalist and broadcaster who has been podcasting for more than a

0:38.9

1:44.5

politicians have always been able to use this tactic, the reason you see politicians more and

1:49.5

say things that they know the minority of people who are up on current events know is not true

1:55.8

is because they can get away with it because so many of the electorate doesn't know it's true.

2:00.7

And that's

2:01.1

partially because, you know, let's be honest, we have a lot of 18-year-olds, 20-year-olds,
