So some interesting reports this weekend, Andy, about Jason Kidd and the process that he is going through in Dallas to fill out his staff and whether or not he'll actually poach more members of Frank Vogel's staff.

We talked about Friday, the idea of Vogel needing to replace Jason Kidd.

He might end up needing to replace more than that.

If the Lakers don't get going on this Frank Vogel extension, which raises other questions, which we'll get to over the course of maybe the show certainly this week.

But Andy, we've talked a lot about how like Dallas has been all crazy.

It's insane and Dallas.

This weekend, the Portland Trailblazers did their best to say sort of hold my locally brewed artisanal craft beer.

Because man, it got nutty up there this weekend with the the impending higher, I guess, of Chauncey Billips. That's the start of it all.

Yeah, I was going to say as it turns out just because it for a lot of people, I think myself included and if you believe Damien Lillard, Damien Lillard himself, Chauncey Billips was involved in a sexual assault allegation in 1997 when he was with the Boston Celtics and ended up being as a rookie.

As a rookie, it ended up being settled out of court and Chauncey Billips's career has since then gone on without any type of impediment.

Whether you're talking about winning the championship, whether you're with Detroit in 2004, whether you're talking about the different organizations that he's been part of a front office or on a coaching staff.

Seemingly without this resurfacing as an issue, but before getting officially hired by the blazers and that announcement is expected to come either today or Tuesday of this week with a press conference, that incident has come up again as a point of discussion and specifically a lot of fans on Twitter seemed to be going at Damien Lillard directly about this.

That he would be seemingly okay with a coach with that incident in his past.

The reason they think he's okay with it is because he said in June on the record to the athletic that he likes Jason Kidd who he went out on Twitter.

This is the thing that people remember was him going out on Twitter and basically kind of lobbying for Jason Kidd then turns down that job and then ends up in Dallas as we've seen, but also the other half of that quote was Chauncey.
