It was a tough Monday night football game,

Bills at Cincinnati. By now you know the name, Damar Hamlin. Probably before last night,

most of you didn't know it, unless you're a diehard NFL fan. Demar is not someone I've met, and there's no update on his condition.

He remains and critical.

But I'm going to take you behind the scenes as to what the sideline reporter had to do, what the announcers had to do, because I've been there.

I've done something very similar, but it was much harder for this crew last night,

and I'll tell you why after this.

For nearly three decades, she's reported the action from the sidelines. She started very young.

She's covered the NBA, NFL, Olympics, and the college football and basketball national championships.

And now, during these insane times in our world, Michelle Tofoya thinks we need a serious dose of sanity.

Still no news as of this recording on Demar Hamlin, and all we know is that he's in critical condition at a hospital in Cincinnati, a level one trauma center. You should know that every NFL

game has a level one trauma center it's connected with. So whether you're at Seattle, Green Bay,

Dallas, wherever the game is, there is an identified and linked, if you will, level one trauma center near that

stadium so that if something like what happened last night or anything serious should happen,

the ambulance knows exactly where it's going. It knows the route. It, it's got everything

ready. And that's just something that the NFL has had in place for a long time.

That is why Damar Hamlin was taken so quickly to this hospital in Cincinnati.
