I just have a few things that I want to make sure to talk to you about.

But first, I just want to introduce you, Dallas Jenkins, the director, producer of The Chosen. You've spent a lot of

time in the film business. You know, for those, I think so many millions of people watch the

chosen all around the world. It's enormously popular. You've created something that I think has really

changed the conversation and the understanding of Jesus in so many places. But for those who might not

know, how did you start this project? And, you know, what brought you to telling the story of

Jesus? It was failure. I had done a movie back in 2017 that was released. It was actually

released on Inauguration day in 2017 that was released. It was actually released on

inauguration day in 2017 and it was a big opportunity released all across the

country in theaters and just completely bombed and everything that I had sought

everything that I was looking for was box office results and awards and the things

that I really cared about were all just gone and

when you have a big failure like that there's no one looking to make a movie with you and i honestly

thought i was home alone with my wife in the in an afternoon when the numbers were coming in and

realizing i might not actually ever make another movie or tv show. Like maybe I was in the wrong business.

Like I've been doing this for almost 20 years, and I've had varying degrees of success,
