You're listening to Daily Truth. Now, I've got to go back and make a defense from my boy, Paul Lash, because I do appreciate his preaching.

What I would say is that none of us are doing theology or pastoral theology or preaching or anything like it in a vacuum.

We all have been placed in the providence of God in particular time among the particular people. When the apostle Paul is

writing to the Corinthian Church is spiritually immature and carnal as they are fleshly. He says it explicitly, but he also in the same breath.

You're in the flesh, but also infants in Christ. So you can be a genuine born-again Christian

living in a fleshly manner, aka I do believe there is such a thing as a carnal Christian.

Now it depends how you define carnal Christian.

But all that being said, the Apostle Paul assures the Corinthian Church despite all of their

spiritual immaturity, despite all of their sin, all their problems. Sexual immorality is only one example.

In the first half of 1 Corinthians chapter 6, he talks about how they have lawsuits among them.

They can't get along. They can't agree. They're wronging one another. And the problem not is not merely that they wouldn't rather allow themselves to be wronged,

but the problem is even more significant than that.

It's when they have a disagreement, they take it before pagan courts.

Is there not anyone wise among you?
