0:55.8	It's not how we read the Bible. It's a day. It was always been a day. God created the earth,
1:02.1	not only in six days, but six literal 24 hour days. I believe that that is the proper position.
1:08.5	And if we get the beginning of the story, that is the biblical narrative,
1:12.1	if we get the beginning wrong, we'll get everything else wrong as well.
1:16.1	The beginning matters.
1:17.0	One of the reasons that it matters, just for the record, one of the problems with theistic evolution,
1:22.5	which I do believe is not just off, but I believe is a heresy.
1:26.9	I believe that it ultimately is an enemy of the gospel
1:30.2	of Jesus Christ. One of the reasons why theistic evolution is a problem is because, and it's both
1:36.1	most basic fundamental assertion, what it insists is that ultimately sin is not the cause of death.
