mouth of God. You're listening to Daily Truth. I think probably 80s, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 is the timing, the dating of this letter.

So I believe that the temple, not just the tent, the tabernacle, but the temple is still in full effect.

It's still standing. This is before 80, 70, and the destruction of the temple in the fall of Jerusalem.

I think the reason why the

apostle refers to it as the tent, because he is talking about the tabernacle in a sense,

but he's specifically referring to the temple because that's what they have at this time.

The reason why he calls it a tent is because at the end of the day now that Christ has come,

that's what it is. It is a tent. Despite all its riches,

all its glory, all its majesty, all its beauty, all its aesthetic superiority in every single way,

it amounts to a tent in comparison to the temple being built with living stones now that Christ

has come.

And so, he says, verse 10, we have an altar from which those who serve the tent have no right to eat.
