I think many of us today subconsciously believe that societies can only decline in terms of virtue.

And this is naive and ignorant because it cannot account for how we got here in the first place.

You look around our nation and Western societies as a whole and you think it's

dissolving into chaos and sin and rebellion so quickly.

But if that were the case, if that was the only mode of humanity, just compromising virtue

for vice and spiraling so quickly, the human race would have ended thousands of years ago. How did we

last so long? Do you think that humanity was just perfect and then has slowly spiraled for about 6,000 years,

give or take, and then really ramped up in its rebellion over the last 50, and especially the last 15.
