Today is Tuesday, July 30th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning in the news this morning. A bizarre incident involving a crash and the driver

jumping out of the sunroof of the car

0:21.4

happened at about 6.50 p.m. last Friday right here in our area where we are. Three cars traveling

eastbound on Monument Road near City Avenue slowed down because of a stopped car ahead. The driver of a

of another state police vehicle almost 44 minutes after the accident. Forty-six minutes after the

1:27.1

accident, an ambulance arrives to check on those injured, including a child.

1:30.6

All of the injuries appeared to be minor.

1:32.4

Now, an hour after the accident, police appeared to issue the driver of the Cadillac a citation, and then they leave.

1:39.0

So somehow, an hour and 17 minutes after the accident, while paramedics were still on the scene

1:43.8

caring for the injured,

1:44.9

the driver of the Cadillac gets in his car and is able to drive away. What kills me is that we assume the door wasn't working or did he just want to like dukes of hazarded out of the? Or maybe the steering wheel stopped working? Maybe he messed up the, I don't know. The drive train? Drive train? Yeah, quite possibly. I don't know. We just saw it as the quickest way to get out.

2:02.0
