Good morning in the news this morning.

Four people barged into a Wawa in Philadelphia and attacked the employee inside, biting one and macing another police say.

This is nuts.

I know.

It happened at 2.30 this morning at the Wawa, Tyson and the Boulevard in Mayfair. Police say two men and two women, ages 19 and 20, walked into the store, began stealing products and knocking other items to the ground. That's when the three Wawa employees called police, an altercation then occurred between the suspect and the employees. Police say one male employee was bit and another male employee was

maced. A female employee suffered a cut on her lip. As the suspects were attempting to leave in a

maroon vehicle parked in the lot, police arrived at the Wawa. The four suspects were placed under

arrest. Glad they got them. Yeah. Items including a Mountain Dew bottle, a Snapple and a basket of

chips could be seen still in the vehicle as it remained in the parking lot hours after the arrest. The two male employees were taken to Nazareth Hospital for treatment. The female employee was taken to police headquarters to give a statement and then to the hospital. Which while was it? It was in Mayfair. It was at Tyson and the Boulevard. Okay. Yeah. You know what? Like it's terrible to say, but when I heard it was at the boulevard, I'm like, of course.

You know, like, why did these things always have to happen out that way? But, yeah, I mean, fortunately, it looks like the employees are going to be okay. But, I mean, just random. Four employees walked, I mean, four, you know, people walked in and attacked me employees. Started being belligerent.

It's funny, though, Preston.

You know, whenever I stop by the Wawa, you know, early on the way into work, I'm in

there and I'm like, who are these people in here? Yeah. At this time and they're probably looking to me, who's this guy in here? Yeah. It's just, you know, it's a weird time. Yeah, at that time, they're just trying to get their sidework done.

I remember walking into a while on my way into work,

and I just saw this guy walking out with like four cartons of cigarettes. And to me, that's just, I was like, that's weird. And so I said to the wah-wa employment, like, wow, that guy wanted a lot of cigarettes early. And he's like, what are you talking about? He sold the ball? And he stole all of them. So, but he's, you know, that poor guy working a while, he's just doing his side work. He's just getting his coffee ready for the morning rush or whatever. It's no man's land when you're doing that. That's why, you know, you probably, they know you when you stop by the while in the morning. And so, you know, you're the only one coming in Victoria I know I'm the same

people I see them every morning and I see the same people stocking shelves and stuff every morning
