This morning, a high wind advisory is in effect until 6 o'clock tonight, with wind gusts expected to reach 50 to 60 miles per hour at times today. The wind is causing scattered problems in the area. Pico is reporting more than 6,000 power outages. Now, those high winds caused a tree to crash into a home in Delaware County. The tree sliced through the roof at 3 a.m. Monday on the 900 block of North Orange Street in Upper Providence Township.

Two people and two dogs were able to escape without injury. The homeowner, Steve Oloski, says that the tree came through five to ten feet from where they were sleeping.

He said they heard the wind and a few branches hit the house. Then what he described as a horrific boom.

They woke up to find the tree coming through their closet. They were able to crawl underneath the tree and they said, get downstairs safely. He says that he can replace anything that's damaged. hearing will be held on the 27th. More than 150 firefighters were called to Trudifrin Township

Chester County after a massive blaze ripped through a building under construction on Sunday evening.

It happened in the 900 block of Atwater Drive. Firefighters arrived at the scene about 3.30 in the

afternoon with fire showing from the upper floors of the structure.
