Good morning in the news this morning. Police are investigating after a man was found murdered in Feltonville overnight.

The victim was found near Empire, a gentleman's club at the 5th in Wyoming.

Police say the victim, a 21-year-old man was shot multiple times in the back.

Investigators found his body surrounded by stacks of cash.

Now, according to the Philadelphia Police Department, the city hasn't had a murder rate as high since 2007.

2018 is on pace to be another bad year with two more killings just over the weekend as of Friday, December 14th.

Philadelphia marks 326 homicides, and that's up 9% over 2017 and the highest since 2007.

Through December 9th, police reported more than 13,400 violent crimes.

And at this rate, that's about one homicide approximately every 26 hours or almost one per day.

Two women were arrested in New York City after a four-month-old boy from Delaware was found dead inside of a

hotel room. Police say Dominic Green from Wilmington was found unresponsive at the Hotel Pennsylvania

around 1 a.m. Saturday morning. He was taken to a hospital where he later died and autopsy will be

performed to determine the cause of death. Police say the 24-year-old and 26-year-old woman were

also from Delaware, but neither were the child's mother.

One was the stepsister and the other is the woman's fiancé.

Responding officers say both women were impaired by either drugs or alcohol when they arrived at the scene and the women were released on Sunday.

Police have recovered pieces of a nativity scene that were stolen Saturday morning.

Police say the robbery happened just after midnight Saturday at the nativity setup,

which was set up in front of the Frank Rizzo mural on 900 Montrose Street.
