Today is Monday. It is December 16th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning in the news this morning. A winter weather advisory goes into effect this morning at 7 a.m.

and is expected to stay in place until 1 a.m. Tuesday morning. Like Preston mentioned, a mixture of snow,

sleet, and freezing rain will eventually change to rain across all counties covered by the advisory.

There will be a gradual arrival of some light snow before.

Oh my God!

My mom called last night and she's like, I don't know if I should go to work. What do you think? I'm like, I think it's going to be okay. Yeah, it's going to be fine. So it's going to change to sleet and then freezing rain, and then finally it'll change all to rain. Most accumulation they're saying will be on grassy surfaces, a total of about one inch of snow or ice.

Some farther north could get two inches.

Bear watch.

Most roads will remain primarily wet. Of course, there is a chance of icy conditions.

So it's expected to stay cold with a high of 36, 37 degrees today.

The rain will continue with some mixed precipitation lingering in northern areas near the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos.

The low for Philadelphia is 35, but closer to freezing in northern areas.

Tomorrow, we can expect periods of rain and drizzle through the morning and early afternoon.

Some drying is possible later in the day, and it's a little bit warmer somewhere in the mid-40.

Oh, yeah.
