In the lengthy statement released by the college on Friday, officials did not get into specifics about what exactly happened, but stated the men's and women's swimming teams had committed violations of the college anti-hasing policy and student code of conduct.

The statement went on to say the incident involved alcohol and underage drinking.

Officials with the Division III school located in Montgomery County also put the coach on probation.

Coach Mark Feinberg supports and agrees with this decision.

And as coach and mentor assumes a share of responsibility for the actions of both the men's and women's teams,

he is now placed on probation and will work on addressing specific action items and strengthening his team's culture moving forward, the statement said.

Several student athletes who were not on the swim team said last week a meeting was called for all student athletes to discuss hazing. You never hear this with the swim team, right? No, this is pretty bizarre. Everybody's asking me to comment because I was a swimmer. Yes, and award winning. I went to her sentence. No, yeah, this, it seemed bizarre to me. Right. The hazing thing just totally seems like, well, A, a Greek life thing, right?

You had fraternity, sororities, but also more so as far as sports are concerned, football. Yeah. Yeah, football hazing. Not swim team hazing. No. But you didn't swim at college. Oh, no. They asked me to. I was like, no, you guys practice way too early from me. So, yeah. I don't have the commitment.

That's pretty crazy, though, both the men's and women's whole season canceled. God. Yeah. I'm sure there were just because of few bad apples, ruins it for everyone. Like a couple more details. I mean, were they doing co-ed hazing? Exactly. There's no details. Yeah. Apparently. They're both.

Yeah.

Maybe it came. I know that the coaching staff or the coach has been suspended. So it might have been high up within the coaching staff. And if so they got to cancel the whole. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. A few bad apples. Yeah. An insanity defense is planned for the trial of a woman accused of killing her former landlord

and another woman in a suburban Philadelphia home earlier this year.

Defense attorney Carrie Allman says Naseema Sammy was experiencing symptoms of severe

mental illness related to delusional disorder, including psychotic beliefs, and intense paranoia

at the time of the March slings in West Narden Township.

44-year-old Sammy is charged with first and third-degree murder, criminal trespass, child endangerment, and related offenses in the deaths of 78-year-old Lila Frost and 68-year-old Verlaine Lorraine Giglielo.

Montgomery County prosecutors say she and her six-year-old son were found under a bed in the

home and the defendant have what appeared to be dried blood on her hands.
