It is Monday, November 15th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning in the news this morning. Philadelphia Police, AMN, was abducted and tied up inside a basement after he arrived home from a casino early Sunday morning. The victim told police he noticed a U-Haul van parked in front of his residence in the 600 block of Adams Avenue in the city's Crescentville section after he arrived home from Parks Casino around 1 a.m. It was not clear if he had been followed. After parking the car, the victim says he was approached by three masked men.

At least two were armed. He told police they grabbed him and made his, and he made his way inside of the home as he made his way inside of the home.

And then they threw him into the back of the van. Police say the suspects took the man to an unknown location, tied him up in the basement and demanded information about the money hidden inside of his home. At some point, he was placed back in the van

and then ultimately released in the area of Knife Welland Street. The victim then walked home

and called police. He told police the suspects ended up stealing a gun, several credit cards,

shoes, and keys from him.

Police say the suspects threatened to kill the man if he reported the incident to authorities.

Four suspects are being sought at this time last month in an unrelated incident.

Police say a 53-year-old, Middlesex County, New Jersey man was killed after he was followed home from Parks Casino.

Multiple people have been arrested in connection with that case.

These follow-home crimes are actually on the rise.

I was watching a story about outside of Rodeo Drive, you know, where a lot of wealthy people will go shopping.

They have to have extra security there now because people are getting followed home and

they're doing this sort of thing.

Kath, in this first story they brought up, you know, they mentioned that they were looking for the money he had hidden in his house. Did they get any money? No. Because it just says credit cards and stuff like that. Okay. Sounds like an inside deal, too, if they would know that that was the case, right? I don't know, but maybe he didn't even have money there. any of it was just coming up from the casino. I have snickerdoodle. So anyone with information about the most recent incident is asked to contact police. This is a terrible story. The Lower Merion community is grieving the loss of a high school principal who was tragically killed in a car accident Saturday while driving his son to a soccer game. Sean Hughes has been the principal of Lower Merion School District for 14 years. He was also a coach, husband, and father survived by his wife and three kids.

mourners stopped by the school Sunday leaving items like flowers, notes, and Lower Marion Gear outside of Hughes's office.

One person left a note that said character counts on his window, according to those who knew him. He said character counts was his motto, and he really lived by that.
