Good morning. In the news this morning, the city of Philadelphia released body cam video and 911 audio at the police killing of Walter Wallace Jr. on Wednesday.

Officers can be heard saying put down the knife at least 11 times before Wallace was shot on the 6100 block of Locust Street on October 26.

The body cam video shows the officer approaching the home and Wallace appearing on the steps with a knife.

Wallace begins to move off of the steps disregarding multiple commands to drop the weapon.

As Wallace enters the middle of the road holding the knife, he has shot multiple times.

At one point in the video, you can hear one of the officers say shoot him.

The officers each fired at least seven rounds, at least 14 total shots, but police could not say how many times Wallace was struck.

Wallace was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he later died.

Commissioner Danielle Outlaw identified the officers involved in the fatal shooting, 25-year-old Sean Matarazzo, who joined the force in 2018 and 26-year-old Thomas Muntz, who joined the force in

2017. At the request of the Wallace family, District Attorney Larry Krasner, says only part of

the video was released. Family members say police were called multiple times before the fatal

shooting. The 911 calls were also released on Wednesday. A neighbor called first at 342 reporting

that the people next door were fighting. Seconds later, another call came into 911 by a family

member who said her brother was hitting her mother and father and that he was on probation for being

violent and had a record. Another call came in at 334. My mom needs help, said a man on the call. No

decision has been made if charges will

be filed against the officers. President Donald Trump's campaign filed lawsuits Wednesday in

Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia laying the groundwork for contesting battleground states as he

slipped behind Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the hunt for the 270 electoral college votes
