Good morning in the news this morning.

A 9,000 square foot home exploded in Gladwin Lower Marion Township.

The explosion happened just after 8 o'clock Sunday on the 600 block of Dodds Lane. The blast

could be heard as far away as South Jersey. Residents in Gladwin said the blast was so strong

pictures and paintings fell off of their walls. Authorities say the cause of the explosion was a gas leak.

The 10-bedroom, a nine-bathroom home sitting on 2.4 acres, was under extensive renovations.

A substantial portion of the single-family residence was leveled by the blast.

We got a text from Kathy last night, right? About that time.

I thought it was an earthquake.

And I think you said, did anyone else feel that?

It was along those lines.

And that's what i assumed because

i didn't feel anything where i was i was and was saying oh maybe an earthquake uh but no it was just a

giant house exploding so how many miles would you say you're from this this location i'm not sure

how far i am you'd have to be gladwin but i mean i figure like four miles three miles no i think

longer i think i mean if he plus well as the mean, it's a decent. Four miles? Three miles? No, I think longer.

I think further than that.

Well, as the crow flies, it's probably four or five miles.
