Jeopardy host, Alex Trebek, is making a pitch for pancreatic

cancer awareness. He's released a public service announcement in conjunction with the World Pancreatic

Cancer Coalition. Trebek is battling stage four pancreatic cancer. He announced his diagnosis in March

and recently revealed that he's having another round of chemotherapy. In the PSA, the beloved game show host talked about his own experience

and the symptoms he faced but knew little about. And we have a clip. I wish I had known sooner

that the persistent stomach pain I experienced prior to my diagnosis was a symptom of pancreatic

cancer. Other common symptoms can include mid-back pain, unexplained weight loss, new onset diabetes, and the yellowing of the skin or eyes. I know we've probably said this like a bunch of times since he came out and said that he had pancreatic cancer, but he's 79? Yes. Wow. He's in great shape for 70s. He's in great shape. And he really has not missed a beat. I know Nikki watched it every night. He looks awesome. He's doing great. I don't know what his actual status is because he tends to hide it well. But the thing we've always been told about pancreatic cancer is the thing that makes it such an issue is because you don't see the warning signs.

A lot of these warning signs would be commensurate with other diseases. Something that you wouldn't think would be the serious. That you would think pancreatic cancer. And there's no real test for it either. Right, right. You don't go in to the doctor's office thinking, you know what? I'm going to get a test. like you can get a test for prostate cancer.

Right, yeah, yeah.

You know, and breast cancer and many others.

So I'm hoping that maybe the silver lining and all this is that there will be more research and more awareness about looking into a pancreatic cancer before it's too late. Well, look, it's the argument that they had with the PSA test for the prostate, which is the only thing that saved my life is once in a blood test. Well, sometimes you might get a false positive.

Trebek urged everyone to learn about the risk and symptoms and to wear purple next month to spread awareness. A man is accused of killing four of his family members, including a seven-year-old and a 17-year-old during a shooting at a home in West Philadelphia on Wednesday. Officers responded to the home, which was on the 5,000 block of Walton Avenue at about 1240 p.m. to check on the well-being of the couple that didn't show up to work. The employer of the male and female that lived in the home notified police after they didn't show up to work. They worked together and they said this was very unlike them. When officers arrived, they found the four shooting victims. 52-year-old Janet Woodson was found by the front door. 17-year-old Said Woodson was found in a bedroom. Seven-year-old Leslie Holmes Jr. was found in the kitchen,

and then 56-year-old Leslie Holmes was found by the basement door. All four were pronounced dead by a medical unit. According to police, the family is known to have had trouble with a mentally

unstable son. Detectives say the suspect is in custody and described as being Janet's son,
