One mega-million's winning ticket worth $1.6 billion was sold in South

Carolina lottery officials say. I have one family member down there.

The South Carolina Education Lottery reported that one ticket matched all five white balls

and the mega ball. The winning numbers in Tuesday night's drawing were 5, 28, 62, 65, 70, and the Mega Ball was five. So it's quick question. We conclusively now know that there is one winner. Are they still waiting to see if other winners come forward? No, there's one winner. They don't know if it's a single person or if it's a group of people.

But there is one winner.

One winning ticket in South Carolina. Yeah, nobody's come forward. They just know the lottery system knows. Yes, okay. One was one. I think it might be per state that has to come in, Steve, because I thought I caught on the news this morning. There may be another winner, but they don't. All right.

That was as of 4 o'clock this morning when I heard the news today.

So as of now, one winner for that whole $1.6 billion. That big nut. Which had to balloon, right? What's the final? It's a good question. Probably more like 1.8 or something. I don't know. They're saying $1.6 billion.

There are 36 second prize winners worth a million dollars each, including two that were sold in New Jersey and one ticket that was sold in Pennsylvania. I know people who live in New Jersey. In Pennsylvania. Yeah. One in Pennsylvania. So check your tickets. The estimated jackpot is the largest lottery prize ever.
