Good morning in the news this morning. There's a developing story. Police in southeastern England say 39 people were found dead in a truck container believed to have come from Bulgaria. A 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Authorities are in the process of trying to identify the 38 adults and one teenager. It's expected, obviously, to be a lengthy process. The truck entered the country through the Welsh port of Hollyhead on Saturday, October 19th.

A regular ferry service connects Hollyhead and the Irish capital, Dublin.

A cordon has been put in place around Waterglade Industrial Park and Thurrock, which remains closed.

So that's all the information right now.

39 people found dead in this truck, and police are out on the scene investigating. Wow. And then they're holding a person for murder. That's pretty wild. I mean, I've heard of people like suffocating that are being smuggled. Smuggled before. But it sounds like that's, this might be a little different than that. Yeah. And I feel like there's always like somebody. I mean, this sounds terrible, but somebody that might still be alive, like these people are all dead.

Wow. Okay. A suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a toddler in Philadelphia

over the weekend. One of two suspects has been taken into custody in Chester Tuesday evening.

Gunfire rang out at 3.30 Sunday inside a home along the 3,300 block of North Water Street in North Philadelphia. According to Philadelphia police, the shooter opened fire on a residence from outside hitting 2-year-old Nicolette Rivera in the back of the head. The child died in her mother's arms at the scene. The 24-year-old mother of the child was also shot once in the right side of her head and once in the back, she's expected to survive. Police say a 33-year-old man, a contractor who was cleaning the carpets inside the home was also shot in the stomach. He's listed in critical but stable condition at this time. The suspect is in police custody, but they have not yet identified him or released his identity. Less than 24 hours before the shooting on Northwater Street,

an 11-month-old boy was also shot inside a vehicle. Police are still searching for that shooter.

A $30,000 reward was being offered for an arrest in the shootings.

Philadelphia police also served a warrant at a home on the 2000 block of Edgemont in Chester late

Tuesday nights. Sources say bags of evidence were taken from the home, but it's not clear exactly what was found.
