Good morning in the news. This morning, two people. A husband and wife died during a fire that broke out at a home in Northeast Philadelphia Monday night.

The fire started shortly before midnight in a two-story home on Medina Place near Harrow Road in the city's Toresdale section.

Arriving, firefighters were met with heavy smoke and flames. The husband and wife were ages 68 and

78 and they were found on the first floor of the home. Neighbors said the couple lived there for years

and that they were very active in the local church. Their daughter and son-in-law, both 46-year-olds,

were taken to Jefferson Toursdale Hospital with burns and smoke inhalation. They were in stable

condition. Witnesses said the daughter and son-in-law were outside of the home screaming

that the two others were still inside. Neighbors tried to get into the home, but there was too much

fire. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly. The cause of the fire

is still under investigation. Now overnight, firefighters continue to pour water off and on

to keep hot spots from flaring up at the site of a massive three-alarm blaze that ravaged an auto

garage in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia. That fire erupted Monday at about 10 a.m. at

Al's auto service and ABM Automotive on the 200 block of South 59th Street. Just a short time after the fire began, several of the building's walls collapsed.

There was no immediate word on any injuries associated with the blaze, the blaze, or the cause of the fire.

A man has been arrested for the rape of a young woman jogging in Narstown Farm Park at gunpoint and broad daylight back in 2017.

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced on Monday.

It's the result of thousands of hours of old-fashioned police work, DA Kevin Steele said.

19-year-old Mason Alexander Hall of West Norton faces numerous charges for the incident,

which occurred back on August 1st, 2017, when Hall was 17 years old.

Because the suspect had a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt on and approached the victim, a 19-year-old woman from behind, there was limited descriptive information for investigators to go upon.

An extensive search of the area followed the attack and it came up empty.
