Good morning in the news this morning. Three people died and a child remains unaccounted for after a vehicle carrying five people plunged into a Delaware Canal on Sunday morning. It happened around 940 on the south side of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal roughly one mile west of the William V. Roth Jr. Bridge. The three who perished in the crash include an 18-year-old male driver and his

relatives, a 16-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy, a 6-year-old boy, who was also related to the

driver, still remains missing. Police said a 16-year-old girl survived the crash. Delaware State

police said the teen driver managed to get out of the vehicle and save the girl who was also

a passenger. He then went back in to save the others but died in the process. The bodies of the 16-year-old and 12-year-old victims were both located inside the vehicle when they pulled it from the water at about 6 o'clock. It's unclear what caused the vehicle to enter the water. Cruise are still trying to locate that 6-year-old little boy. Delaware State Police say the victims lived in Newcastle and Wilmington,

and anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Terrible.

A groom has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting his then-fiance's bridesmaid.

The assault happened while the wedding party was preparing for the celebration at a resort on August 30th.

Authorities say the bridesmaid, the bridesmaids were drinking the couple of days before the wedding.

The bridesmaid said that she blacked out and when she woke up, she says that her clothes were removed by Daniel Carney and he was fondling her.

Police say a review of surveillance video from the resort shows Carney pulling the woman into a locker room and she appeared to be extremely unsteady on her feet. According to police, the assault stopped when the bride walked in. Police say the groom admitted to taking advantage of the bridesmaid. Court documents show investigators listened in on a call between Carney and the accuser. They say during the call, he repeatedly told her he was sorry, specifically saying it was his fault several times.

Prosecutors charged Carney on Thursday with one felony count of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with an unconscious person,

one misdemeanor count of simple assault, and another misdemeanor for indecent assault without consent of the other. The couple did still get married. There you go. Yeah. No one objected when that offer was put before the attendees? Who knows? That could have been a thing. I have an issue here. It says they were at a resort, so it could have been an issue of, like, everyone's there. Oh.

Let's just do this. Look, we don't want to return these toasters.

Yeah, let's not this little sexual assault getting away of our event that we plan. Of our future together. No, I know somebody who did it. Who did that. everyone was there was there and she was like look we're not gonna i'm not gonna embarrass be embarrassed

and turn everyone away and she did it she She got married, but then, um, I don't know if they legally signed the papers or what, but it ended like before they went away on the honeymoon and it ended before they got back from the honeymoon. The big secret, by the way, if you ever encounter a situation like this, is that no one attending actually cares. So you can, in fact, they will enjoy it more if you get into a brawl or start fighting or accuse each other of things.
