11 people were hospitalized after a massive fire in Upper Marion Township on Wednesday night.

The fire broke out at 1020 at the Kingswood Apartments located along the 200 block of Byron Place in King of Prussia.

Five people, five residents, I'm sorry, five residents and five officers, along with a paramedic,

were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Yeah, had friends that lived there.

That was like a big place that off campus when people went to Cabrini. They would live in Kingswood.

Yeah, just off of Wheatley, I believe. In King of Prussia, right? Yeah. Yeah, the officers and

paramedics rushed into the burning building to rescue people from the flames. So those first responders arrived before firefighters. So they ran into the building to try to rescue people. Residents said that they needed help because it was almost impossible to get out through the hallways. So people were actually jumping from their balconies to flee the fire. Officials said all the residents made it out of the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the Red Cross has stepped in. Their assisting displaced residents. Police said a four-year-old boy was shot and killed during a home invasion in North Philadelphia early Thursday. Crime scene investigators and detectives are collecting evidence of the home on Lambert Street near West Susquehanna Avenue. The 911 call was placed shortly after 1 a.m. for a home invasion robbery. Police say a father had been home with his four-year-old and a younger child while the mother was at work. When police arrived, the father was downstairs holding the younger child. The four-year-old was found upstairs in a bedroom, unconscious and unresponsive. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The boy's father is being interviewed by police as investigators work to learn more about the

latest case of a child being shot. Police are looking for surveillance video in the area.

Dozens of people camped out for hours in the cold in Berks County to get a year's worth of free

Chick-fil-A. The chain is opening a new restaurant at Fifth Street in Mul Mulberg Township Thursday morning. It's a Chick-fil-A tradition since 2003, whether it's the overnight campout or new events like their red carpet rollout, free food goes to the first 100 people, and it's for a year's worth of food. And it always works. It always gets a lot of press. The first 100 promotion registration began at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Only residents living in certain parts of Pennsylvania were eligible for the free food. Chick-fil-A says it's a chance for local franchise owners and restaurant team members to get to know new customers. Does that a click to a sandwich like a day and a soda or is it unlimited food? I don't think it's going to be unlimited. Wait a minute. How do you get registered for this? You have to, you either. So they do these two events. One is camp out. I mean, there's people out there right now in tents. Right. They've camped out the first 100 people. And then I guess they can start lining up at 6 o'clock on Wednesday for the Thursday opening. Okay, so, all right, that's okay. What if you showed up, you know, a little bit before that, were they going to shuffle you off and say, no, you can't get in line yet? I don't know. I didn't. I mean, because then if it's that important to people, they'll start waiting out on Monday just sitting in their car in the parking lot. Waiting to run over and be the first.

But, you know, the whole first person in line thing can get a little risky. Yeah. It does get the press, though. But if the kids don't mind sleeping in the car pressed and I think you're fine. Bring the pets to the whole thing. Oh, my God. Sit there for your free years worth of food. The first person in line at Carline, like when you pick your kid up from school, is like sometimes I've drive by in the middle of the, I'm not kidding you, in the middle of the day and somebody's in line. And I'm like, there's still an hour and a half left of school. What is that about? What are you doing? I don't know. I don't know. Well, in fairness, that line is a pain in the ass to get in and out of at the end.

And all the parents are there at the same time.

It's not going to, I don't think it's worth an hour and a half of your time.

Right.

I mean, I'm not kidding you.

I know.

I am not kidding.

If you're waiting an hour and a half, you're waiting an hour and a half on the front side instead on the backside. Yes. Right? Even if you're last in line, you're not going to wait and I want to have to get out of the parking lot.

But that's my trick. I go after Carline has started. I'm in car line for five minutes and Chase is in my car and we're home. Isn't there something to be saying if you if you leave your child at the school, won't somebody eventually drive that kid home? They're not going to leave them there alone. And I guarantee you that.

But, Kathy, I tend to think that those people are just killing time.
