Good morning in the news this morning. An investigation is underway after authorities found a woman's

decomposing body in a basement of a Philadelphia home on Thursday night. The Philadelphia Sheriff's

office was serving a robbery warrant with Philadelphia Police Department's special victims unit

at the home in the 2100 block of Porter Street when they made the gruesome discovery. Investigators

found the decomposing body of a woman partially dismembered in a

plastic tub in the basement. After the people inside of the home were arrested, police went into the

basement and found what appears to be a female body decomposed and partially dismembered. All five

people that were inside the home are now in police custody. No charges have been filed yet.

Police say they are investigating this is a possible case of human trafficking.

They are looking for a missing female who was approximately 18 years old.

The victim has not yet been identified.

I was watching a documentary about the cartels and trafficking, human trafficking and human trafficking that they're involved in around the country.

That's a real cash issue for them.

They make loads of money off this.

It's so scary.

And I was just talking to a woman the other day about this and the problem here, like right

here in Philadelphia, and that a lot of people don't know.

There's actually a human trafficking task force and there's a safe house.

I forget the name of the nonprofit, but they'll anonymously house women who have been involved in human trafficking for a full year to help them kind of recover and then get back out. But they keep their identity anonymous. You know, people don't know that they're there. And the actual houses, the nonprofit is, you know, has an office, but the actual houses are secret where they're located in. Is it a covenant house, Kath? It's not. I think it's a woman's name. I want to say it's called Dawn's Place, maybe, or Dawn's House, something like that. Yeah. Philadelphia Police have announced charges against a 17-year-old for the murders of both his foster mother and a man found dead inside a duffel bag. We talked about this yesterday.
