In the news this morning, a 31-year-old man has been arrested for shooting his parents in Delaware County, leaving his father dead and his mother hospitalized. Tinacom Township Police took Matthew Hawks into custody about 3 a.m. Friday. He is accused of shooting his father, 77-year-old Henry Hawks and his mother, 62-year-old Donna. Hox's father was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother is recovering at Crozier-Chester Medical Center. Police aid all started at 8 o'clock Thursday with what they believe was an argument at the Hawks home in Lester. A massive search got underway for the 31-year-old. Police from all over Delaware County descended upon the quiet neighborhood. |
