In the news this morning, a bartender was shot and killed in West Philadelphia.

Officers on patrol heard gunshots about 1015 last night at the Studio 7 lounge at 60th in Spruce Streets.

They saw a man running from the bar going east on Spruce.

Once inside the bar, officers found a female bartender in her 30, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The woman was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Then a few houses away, police found a 52-year-old man said to be the same man who was running from the bar who had also been shot in the head. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police found a handgun under the man's body and believed that he shot himself after shooting the woman at the bar. Philadelphia Police Lieutenant Johnny Walker said, we don't know the relationship between him and the bartender, but we do know that they know each other. Police have not released the names of the victim or suspect. It kind of seems like it might be a crime of passion. Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I heard it. So sad, she was only in our 30s. Horrible. The dire search for a suspected child predator is escalating in Bucks County. Police have been looking for David Hamilton for five days, and now they say he may be in possession of a stolen car. Meanwhile, police have arrested a woman who they say was hiding the suspect in a Southampton home. He is a top priority right now, said Robert Clark of the U.S. Marshals.
