Good morning in the news this morning.

The grandfather of an 11-month-old baby who overdosed on his parents' drugs said the child is recovering well at the hospital.

Chester County officials said the infant required three doses of Narcan after he overdosed on heroin as his parents slept off their high in the front seat of their car on Wednesday.

First responders arrived at a home on limestone road in West Fellowship Township

Wednesday night about 7 o'clock after a family member found the child unresponsive. The child's

grandfather said the couple came over for dinner when he found them in the car. Police said they

interviewed the child's parents, Kristen Bristow and Charles Salzman Jr., and found that they had

ingested heroin and fell asleep in the car along with their

child as they were parked behind the house. Oh my God. Yeah. It's awful. According to officials,

after the parents fell asleep, the 11-month-old found and was able to get his hands on this heroin,

he ingested it while seated in the vehicle. Dear God. So these guys are dosing up. They're about to go

into their parents' house. House for dinner. Wow. Yeah. So they dose up in the car with the baby. Pass out. Pass out. The baby gets, that's, that's, wow. Awful. It reminds me that footage. It haunts me every time I think about it. The parents passed out in front and a young child in a safety seat in the back.

Yeah, that was awful.

That was, I mean, it was locally, but I think, weren't they parked near a train track or something?
