Horrible story and then all of a sudden we have a squeer come up. Today is Monday, September 26th. Good morning, Kathy. Good morning. In the news this morning, a Pittsburgh man is facing charges after two people were killed in Wildwood during an unsanctioned car event known as H-2O-I. It happens Saturday just after 930 in the area of Burke and Atlantic Avenues.

According to Cape May County Prosecutor's Office, 37-year-old Gerald J. White was behind the wheel of a 2003-Infinity when he crashed into a 2014 Honda Civic and then two pedestrians.

Authorities say one of the pedestrians died.

She has been identified as 18-year-old Lindsay Weekland of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. 34-year-old Timothy Ogden of Clayton, New Jersey, was a passenger

in the Honda Civic and also died from his injuries. Family members say he had just left the

Irish Fall Festival with his fiance and was not part of the car rally. There was no

immediate word on the condition of the second pedestrian.

So are you guys familiar with this dragon? Have you seen? No, this has never happened there before.

So this is, uh, Rochelle was following it all weekend. So it was going on. It wasn't just this

evening. It was like several nights in a row. And so, you know, since we have vacation home there,

she follows the social media accounts to see what's just going on in the area.

And it was happening.

In fact, Rochelle and Carter went down there because there were some nasty winds on the way and we wanted to go make sure our, you know, patio furniture was still there.

They went down there and it was already going on.

And Rochelle saw this guy fish tailing out of the Wawa parking lot. Wow. What a phone pool. And then there were a big group of them, Casey, over at the Lowe's parking lot. Yeah, I heard. And they were, they were, they were this, Steve, this used to be in Ocean City, Maryland. Yes. And then Ocean City, Maryland said, We don't want you here anymore. Well, it's not sanctioned. They showed up in Ocean City, Maryland like they did here. You know, they kind of just created it themselves. I got worse. And it got worse as the weekend went on like these guys were saying. And, you know, in Wildwood and our area, Wildwood Crest, I mean, like, they, you know, speed limit is strictly enforced.

I was like, how is this going on all weekend long?

But there were just so many.
