The 2018 NFL season will officially begin when the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles take the field against the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Financial Field tonight, but the pregame festivities start hours earlier. The day-long NFL kickoff experience begins at 10 a.m. at Penn's Landing and runs through 8 o'clock tonight. It's free and open to the public.

No tickets are required, but fans are encouraged to register in advance on the NFL kickoff fan mobile pass for an all-access pass. How crowded do you think it's going to be down there? Oh, God, I don't know. I don't know. I mean, there's, you know, parking restrictions, and they're encouraging you to take mass transit, all of that. Well, it's down there.

The NFL says that fans attending the concert will be encouraged to watch the season opener at Philly restaurants as it will not be broadcast at the Penn's landing site. So you'll be able to watch the Super Bowl win. but then once the game starts tonight, you'll have to go into a bar restaurant. During the parade, when they had the victory parade, that was one of the really cool highlights is when they ran the game back. We're going, wow, how smart is that? It just was a great way to kill three hours. People standing around doing nothing waiting for the excitement to happen. Yeah. It was awesome.

This is the 17th consecutive kickoff celebration to start the season and the 14th time the NFL has saluted the Super Bowl champions with an opening game in their stadium on Thursday in prime time.
