Good morning in the news this morning.

Hurricane Dorian continues to lash the east coast of central Florida as a category two storm. At 5 a.m., the U.S. National Hurricane Center reported Dorian

is about 95 miles east of Daytona Beach, Florida. Maximum sustained winds are being clocked at

105 miles per hour with gusts up to 125 miles per hour. It's moving to the north, northwest at eight

miles per hour. Dorian's projected

path still has it riding up the east coast along Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North

Carolina. It's funny because I was watching a lot of the coverage, you know, on the various

24-hour news channels. And there were a lot of times they were cutting to people who were kind

of standing on sunny beaches. It beaches going, it's out there.

Don't be fooled.

Trying to drum up something to occupy the time because, I mean, it's at a cat too.

Obviously, it's still something that's formidable.

But the course it's taking now is obviously a lot more fortuitous for the people along the coast.

Dorian could make landfall anywhere around the Charleston, South Carolina to the North Carolina

outer banks, or it could stay out to see completely.

Small shifts in the storm's ultimate path could create very different weather conditions in

various cities all along the affected states.

I was watching the weather channel, and they showed the series of storms that are going on.
