In the news this morning, the SWAT team was called out to a barricade situation in Millville, Cumberland County yesterday. The incident began at 4.30 Monday evening at a residence near 2nd Street and Wheaton Avenue. Dozens of police officers swarmed onto the scene and surrounded the house. Swat units speaking through bullhorns have tried to get the person inside of the home to exit, but to no avail. They're still out there this morning. Authorities have blocked off a three-block area. Neighbors were evacuated from their homes, and some residents had been moved to a nearby ice cream store. Millville Police have not said what led to the barricade or if anyone else is inside the home with this person. No injuries have been reported. On the upside, members have been moved to the ice cream store. Ice cream. Ice cream. Ice cream for everyone. If you're being inconvenienced, I scream, you scream. We all scream for SWAT ice cream. There you go. I mean, it's going to be really hot today. At least they're going to spend their day in somewhere comfortable. Wait, I like that. Yeah, I scream, you scream, we all scream for slots. I scream. It's good. I like it. Upper Darby police say that they've arrested a suspect accused of shooting the owner of a beer distributor. 24-year-old Pablo Quintanilla was arrested Monday morning and is being charged with attempted murder.
