In the news this morning, nine people were injured after a tree came crashing down as a result of a lightning strike at a swim club in Bucks County Sunday.

It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Dolphin Swim Club located on the 200 block of West Bristol Road in Feasterville.

Authority said a tree crashed onto a tent pavilion injuring two adults and seven children.

Lightning struck the tree moments before the incident.

to area hospitals for treatment. Three people were severely injured, they said, six others suffered

minor injuries. Lower Southampton emergency management officials said the swim club staff initiated

Officials said two people are dead following a plane crash in Newark, Delaware Sunday morning. The incident happened in the area of 550 Stanton Christiana Road at 9 a.m. The plane's pilot radioed in that he needed to land and then officials

lost communication with the pilot. The twin-engine aircraft was found in a heavily wooded area

off of Route 7, approximately two miles north of runway 32 of Newcastle Airport. A short time later,
