Good morning in the news this morning.

The two-night Bruce Springsteen and E Street band performances in Philadelphia have been postponed due to an apparent illness.

What the f***? The shows were scheduled for Wednesday and Friday at Citizens Bank Park. Due to Bruce Springsteen having taken ill his concerts with the East Street band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16th and 18th have been postponed.

We're in a statement posted by Bruce Springsteen on social media.

So the word starts to get out on social media and people are posting.

Some people were already down there waiting and tailgating and getting excited.

Yeah, man.

Citizens Bank Park confirmed the postponement, adding that new dates to see the boss have not been announced.

Most recently, Boss played one night only at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia on March 16th as part of their 2023 tour.

Back in early March, Bruce fell ill and had to cancel three shows.

Obviously, fans were bummed after learning the news.

Some were already outside of the ballpark when the postponement was announced.

Fans say they heard sound check, but they did not hear Bruce during that sound check.

For the announcement to be made three hours before the doors were to open, everyone is wondering what happened and is hoping the boss is okay.

Fans are encouraged to keep their tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled

performances. Meanwhile, there was a rumor that some sort of sinkhole at Citizens Bank Park

may have led to the postponement. However, that is not true.
