John Clark, our buddy, yes, aficionado, has been by here for years and years and years,

posted on his Twitter account yesterday about one of the Phil's utility players, a guy named Brad Miller. And he was in the

locker room and he said, Brad Miller told me that he brought the luck, the lucky bamboo today in Philly.

He believed that it would end the losing streak. So he has a little bamboo plant and he brought it

into the locker room. And he said, this will bring us some wins i can feel it and

john said if you win tonight he said when we do every philly will have bamboo in their locker tomorrow

so we'll see if that ends up happening well it's only crazy if it doesn't work yeah and it worked last

night yeah and so i would hope that every philly in their locker today has a bamboo plant. Is bamboo lucky? I have no idea. To him it is. I'll take, Nick, I'm forgetting the name of the player, but he brought in a bag of flies. It's the guy that lives in Delka. Yeah, the guy from Delco brought in a bag of flies. I tell you, you know, it was obviously, it was a seismic event because it was a shift.

It was as bleak as could be.

But to have that happen, I wouldn't screw with the bamboo.

I would stick with it.

The Phillies were having fun with it because they changed their Twitter handle last night yesterday to four Leaf Clover. On their account, they posted a penny with the head up and there was one other, oh, a ladybug. A ladybug, I guess, is also good luck. So the Phillies were trying anything. And they're in the middle of a seven-game losing streak. And as you guys know, athletes and ballplayers in particular can be very superstitious. Let me ask you how, so it matters like that, Preston, when no one's looking or whatever,

if you pass by like a quarter that's on the ground, if it's tails up.

Yeah.

I have, as of the last few years, kind of bailed on all superstitions.
