I was glad to see it was surfing around yesterday and when they found that 12 kid that was missing.

Yeah, since what, Sunday, Saturday night?

North Carolina, I was like, I was totally surprised, obviously happy that they they found the boy. But, you know, when people, when they, when they find out that kids are missing and they've been looking for a couple of days, it's usually like, that's not going to turn out good. Well, one thing they kept stressing too, which I thought, this is, this is not going to turn out the way they wanted to, is that they kept stressing that it was a hilly cliff area. Right. So that, you know, they kept trying to suggest that even if he wandered off in the thick brush or in the dark, he could have easily gone over the edge of something. Yeah, and they were saying they didn't search the area that they found him in because he would have had to have passed this, you know, this big mountain area. And that's where he was. And do you know, it was like, it was like 800 feet outside the, the parameter that they last checked. Oh, really? Yeah. And he saw the horses that were out, like, you know, they had taken horses through the woods to try to find this kid. And he said he had actually seen the horses but didn't go over to them because he was scared.

Really?

Yeah.

Did they think for a while there that maybe there could have been like some crazy woodsman guy who had abducted the kid? Well, sure. Yeah, I mean, that's... Which name you'd have found? They absolutely would have considered that, I would imagine. The name's Jeremiah. Look at my Johnson. I don't think they ever came forward and said that.

But, I mean, as a parent, I mean, that's obviously going to be one of your concerns.

I mean, not just being lost, but I mean, there's... There's been stories where you remember a while back of some girl that was held at this guy's little area out in the woods and dug out a like almost like a cave

in the side of the ground and and was with ventilation systems and all this guy was prepared to

abduct this kid yeah and had gone to great lengths to secure it I mean because this in this day and

age that's the first place your mind goes it It's like, who's got my kid?

Well, where is my kid? In that case, I wouldn't think that. You know, I would think because of where they were, you know, we've talked about this before. If you go out and you're in the woods and, you know, so as a Boy Scout, he knows some of the tricks about where to go and so on and so forth. but you know if you start to panic and you lose your direction

you're aft.

I don't know how big this place was, but when I was in the Boy Scouts, we didn't go to places that were all that big.

I mean, we did French Creek, Delmont and stuff like that where, you know, it's...

You didn't go out into, like, Western PA and out in the middle middle of Appalachian Trail, nothing like that.

The Pine Barons, yeah.

So if you got lost, you were somewhat contained, you know?

Right, right.
