Good morning in the news this morning. Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that

injured four people, including a young child Wednesday night. It happened at 1030 near Creighton Street and Waelusing Avenue in West Philadelphia. According to Chief Inspector Scott Small, officers found a 26-year-old man lying on the pavement on Creighton Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was rushed to an area hospital and placed in critical condition. A short distance up the block near 51st Street in Wailusing, police found three additional victims inside a bullet-rilled Kia SUV. We don't know if somebody was intentionally firing shots of the vehicle or if it was hit by stray gunfire, but the vehicle clearly has 10 bullet holes in it, small said. According to police, two 20-year-old women are both critical after being shot. One was shot in the head, the other shot in the back. A two-year-old boy and a six-year-old boy were in the back seat of the SUV at the time of the shooting. Police say the two-year-old was shot in the leg. He was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he was placed in stable condition. It's unclear what sparked the gunfire, but police say the shooting likely happened near Creighton Street.

Two teen girls, ages 13 and 14, turned themselves in for the attack on an older man who later died from being

beaten with a traffic cone by a group of teens. The 14-year-old girl who has not been identified

is now reportedly facing third-degree murder and conspiracy charges while the 13-year-old was

released and not charged. So it's in addition to the 10-year-old and the 14-year-old boys. Actually, I think...

Was released, right, yes. Police say a group of teens, teen offenders, was wanted in connection

with the death of 73-year-old James Simi Lambert Jr. in June. The Philadelphia Police

Department released surveillance video of the attack and announced the city's $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The video appeared to show a group of teens surrounding Lambert and some of them could be seen picking up a cone and hitting him.

He was knocked to the ground and later transported to the hospital where he died from head injuries.

The two brothers, ages 10 and 14, turned themselves into authorities on Monday.

The older of the two identified as Richard Jones faces a murder charge as an adult.

According to officials, his 10-year-old brother was released and is not being charged with the crime.
