Good morning in the news this morning.

A 37-year-old man was stabbed

to death following an altercation late Thursday night just blocks from Rittenhouse Square. Police

said it happened at 11 p.m. at 17th and Chancellor Street. They responded to the center

city intersection after 911 calls came in reporting a stabbing. When police and medics arrived,

they found a 37-year-old man stabbed at least once in the back, heavily bleeding and lying in the highway. Medics rushed the victim

to Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead 20 minutes later. Based on evidence

and witness accounts, police say the victim was a passenger in a car when he got into a verbal

altercation with a man who was on a bike. According to a witness, it started as a verbal altercation between someone on the bike and the two guys in the car. A fistfight ensued, and then the man on the bike allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other guy. Police say five men tried to chase down the suspect with the knife but weren't able to catch up with him. He left his bag and his bike behind.

There are a number of cameras in the area, and police hope that that will help in the investigation.

There have been a number of knife murders recently, which, you know, particularly brutal and vicious.

A Villanova University campus minister is accused of an

unthinkable and unholy crime. Investigator, say, 51-year-old Timothy O'Connell was receiving and

viewing child porn. His arrest was the result of an FBI investigation into another suspect who
